These terms govern your use of Latuvo (the iOS app + Apple Watch app). By using Latuvo you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Latuvo. Latuvo is local-first: there is no account and no Latuvo server — your data stays on your device and your own iCloud (see the Privacy Policy).

1. Eligibility

Latuvo is a general-audience app and does not ask for your age. By using Latuvo you confirm that you're legally able to enter into this agreement under Romanian law and that Latuvo is not prohibited in your country of residence.

2. Your use of Latuvo

There is no Latuvo account or login — your identity is simply your Apple device and iCloud. You're responsible for keeping your device and Apple account secure, and for the content you enter (your display name, the names of opponents you log, match results). Because the app runs locally on your device, we don't operate accounts to suspend; we may, however, screen the names you enter (see §4) and decline to support uses that attempt to compromise the app or other people's devices.

3. What Latuvo provides

Latuvo records your tennis matches and surfaces your personal statistics, form trends, and post-match recap on the iOS app and Apple Watch app. It is a private, single-player record — there is no cross-user rating, leaderboard, or shared match. We provide the service "as is" — we don't guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability, or that iCloud sync is instant or error-free; that the stats or analysis are free of error; or that HealthKit data is medically accurate (it's a consumer fitness signal, not a medical device).

Latuvo is not a medical device or a diagnostic tool. Heart rate, calories, and other fitness signals are estimates from consumer-grade sensors; do not use them to make health decisions. If you have a medical condition, consult a doctor before using the watch during intense play.

4. Acceptable content

The only text you enter that could concern another person is the name you give an opponent you log. That name stays on your own device/iCloud and is visible only to you, but you still agree not to enter content that is offensive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or sexually explicit. The app applies a basic on-device name filter; report concerns to [email protected].

5. Subscription and payments

Latuvo Plus is available as an auto-renewing subscription — monthly or yearly — or as a one-time lifetime purchase, each at the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase. Manual match logging is always free and unlimited; Plus adds watch-tracked stats beyond the first 5 free watch-tracked matches. There is no free trial. Your free-match counter is tied to your iCloud identity and can't be reset by deleting your data.

Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown in the App Store unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal. Manage or cancel anytime in the app (Profile → Cancel or change plan) or in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that does not renew.

All purchases are billed through Apple's App Store under Apple's standard terms. Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies. Cancelling does not delete your matches — they stay on your device and in your iCloud.

6. License

Latuvo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on iOS devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app (beyond what Romanian law explicitly permits); resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app; use Latuvo to build a competing service by scraping its data; or circumvent the app's content screening or any other protection.

7. Your content

You own the match data, your initials-based avatar, names, and stats you create in Latuvo. They stay on your device and in your own private iCloud — Latuvo does not host, display, or share them with anyone (there is no server and no shared/linked match). We don't sell your data or use it for advertising; nothing leaves your device through the app (see the Privacy Policy on on-device crash diagnostics). You agree not to enter content that is offensive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable in the names you log; the app applies a basic on-device name filter, and you can report concerns to [email protected].

8. Ending use

You can remove your data at any time by deleting matches in the app, or by deleting the app and its iCloud data — it's all on your own device/iCloud, so there's nothing on our side to erase. You can stop using Latuvo whenever you like. Your free-match counter is tied to your iCloud identity and can't be reset by deleting your data.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Romanian law: Latuvo's total liability to you, for any claim arising from the service, is limited to the amount you paid Latuvo in the 12 months before the claim; Latuvo is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages; Latuvo is not responsible for what other users do (on or off the app), including harassment or impersonation; and Latuvo is not responsible for injuries during tennis matches — that's on you and your court. Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything Romanian law doesn't allow us to limit.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved between us will be brought before the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania. EU users retain any mandatory rights they have under their local law.

11. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms when we change the service. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Latuvo after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. The current version is always at latuvo.com/terms.
